Michael De Lucca
President and CEO - Broward Regional Health Planning Council
Mr. De Lucca directs a staff of over 85 professionals in delivering Administrative, Planning, Evaluation and Program Services. With a budget of over $9.5 million, the Council’s programs include: Health Families Broward, HIV Health Service Planning Council and Clinical Quality Assurance, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Programs, Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS, the Office of Consumer Affairs, the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program, and Health Data Warehousing.
Mr. De Lucca has over 26 years of experience in health care management and holds a Bachelor of Art degree in Psychology from Florida International University and Master’s degree in Health Management from St. Thomas University. He has received recognition awards from State Department of Health, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Broward County Board of County Commissioners, Nova Southeastern University, Broward Health, United Way of Broward County, South Florida Healthcare Executive Forum and the Caring Soul Award from International Health Initiatives.
Mr. De Lucca received his Advanced Leadership Program Professional Certificate from Nova Southeastern University and successfully completed the Senior Executive Orientation, 2008. He continues to serve on Nova Southeastern University and Florida International University Masters of Public Health Programs Advisory Committees. Mr. De Lucca serves as Chair for Florida Healthy Kids, the Health Care Access Committee and the United Way Health and Wellness Committee. He also serves on CCB Steering and Chair for Quality of Life Committee, United Way Community Advisory Council and on the Board of the Community Blood Centers of South Florida.
