HIV Planning Council Membership

The Council continuously seeks active new members for its Committees and the Council itself. Council and Committee Members and Staff hold and attend many community events during the year and actively recruit interested members of the community, providers of HIV/AIDS services, ethnic groups, gay and lesbian organizations, religious groups, public health organizations and HIV/AIDS support groups. HIVPC Staff create and disseminate fliers for most committee and Council meetings and circulate them widely in the community. In addition, notices of meetings and other information are sent to an email distribution list of several hundred interested individuals several times each month.
